Carnival Court 2010/2011Emily - Miss Hoddesdon and Broxbourne 2011/12
Hello my name is Emily and I am this year’s miss Hoddesdon and Broxbourne 2011/12.
I am very pleased I have the opportunity to raise money for charities, meet new people and represent Hoddesdon and Broxbourne. I am 14 years old and have all my GCSE’s ahead of me that i hope to do well in so I can achieve my future desire to become a lawyer. My hobbies include performing on stage which I have been doing since the age of 6, alongside my brother who I mainly do everything with like jiving and ballroom dancing, which we both have a passion for. I also love helping people by being part of St John’s ambulance. I have been part of their team for over 5 years and it has helped to build my confidence and achieve a higher level of leadership skills. My court and i hope to make Hoddesdon and Broxbourne proud when participating in carnivals around the country, including Paris this November. I hope to see you at some of our many carnivals we have lined up this year, especially our festival of light in December. All my love, Queen Emily xxx
Chelsea - Princess
Hello my name is Chelsea. I am currently studying hairdressing at ware college. After I am qualified I would like to travel the world and work on a cruise ship as a hairdresser.
This is my second year as a princess in the carnival. I enjoy being involved in the carnival and love helping to raise money for charity. With all my love Princess Chelsea
Rebecca - Princess
Hello my name is Rebecca. I am currently attending Sheredes Senior school and am starting my second year of G.C.S.E's. In my free time I enjoy playing netball and play for Turnford netball club I am also in the East regional training squad.
I intend to stay on at school and hope to go to university to study physics and maths or physiotherapy and become a physiotherapist.
This is my first year as a princess, however when I was younger I was a mini miss during 2002-2003. I hope to see you all at our carnival, please come and talk to me and say hello. With love, Rebecca
